Zahringer Hof in Muenstertal

Too hectic

After a hiking tour from Staufen to the Schauinsland, we came earlier than agreed with 6 people. Therefore the Vesper card was still valid. We were too early for the evening menu. I order my way through the Vesper menu and think the kitchen and the staff deserve the full number of points. We would be served quickly and very courteously, in the kitchen the schnitzel is still tapped and prepared with clarified butter. The salad is also very fresh and the Waldhaus perfect for us after a long hike. Gladly again.

As always, the trip was worth it!

Good dishes, however, with a very long waiting time (approx. 60 minutes) and steep prices. In the hotel Halde in the immediate vicinity the prices are similar to the food but better.

With the limited meal times that have to be accepted somewhere, it would be a little more relaxed for the guest if the dishes are served in such a way that one does not feel so rushed Otherwise, as usual, the best cuisine and care, support

Food was good but you should bring plenty of time with you as the waiting time for the food was over an hour

Without guest fluctuation after ordering food at 1.30pm, there was a waiting time of approx. 1 hour. € 18.00 for 2 schnitzel with fat-soaked and partially burnt potato chips, contrary to the announced roast potatoes, must be viewed as slightly overpriced. At least there was a green salad and a small lemon wedge with the schnitzel, which was fresh. The children's fries were plentiful, but comparable to hard briquettes. But they were kindly replaced by fresh fries after another test of patience. The extremely loyal service to her master was correct and remained friendly despite criticism on site.

As always ... everything is fine. Outstanding food ... perfect service. Highly recommended.

Very nice. Beautiful, clean rooms in the guest house. Good cuisine and delicious breakfast, nice owners. I feel completely comfortable in the Zähringer Hof.

We spent several nights in the Zähringer Hof. The room was very nice and well maintained and the guesthouse very quiet. The breakfast was absolutely excellent, on individual requests were received. The fact that the kitchen and wine list are outstanding has meanwhile also spoken around in the Rhineland and so the entire stay was a pleasure from beginning to end. The family atmosphere and the fact that all employees like to work here seem to be particularly positive.

Beautiful guest house with great guest rooms and ingenious kitchen. You can tell at dinner and at breakfast, that here is a chef at work, who loves his job and appreciates his products used! The result speaks for itself and, combined with an always attentive and very friendly service, is a completely successful overall package that we will certainly enjoy again. Here is right price / performance - just a recommendation!
